Cartoon Lagoon features puppets with 2D faces. It’s a technique you don’t see too often because it’s hard. Really, REALLY hard to do. Much more time consuming than you, or we, could ever have imagined.  It’s hard, like building a pyramid kind of hard. Like making to the end of an episode of the Jersey Housewives kind of hard.

Here you see the first step of the process and that’s creating the mouth charts and animations that will later be mapped and tracked onto the 3D puppets.Pay no attention to his WEEBLE like, nude body nor it’s lack of nipples and belly button….your body changes as you get older kids….leave it at that.
