Here’s part 2 in our animation process. After we animate all the possible expressions and mouth positions we needed to figure out how they would move in dimensional space. So if one of the characters looks up we need to have a face that will fit that positioning.
We thought we could automate this process but we were really, really wrong. About 6 months worth of detailed supervision wrong. And there were many, many glitches…. Giant faces. Teeny tiny faces. Multiple faces, NO FACES…Hoo boy…
